Public & Separate School System
Kenora Catholic District School Board operates one public elementary school, St. John Separate School, in Red Lake. St. John Separate School in Red Lake services students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8.
Keewatin-Patricia District School Board (KPDSB) operates the public school system within the district, operating two public schools and one district high school. All KPDSB educational facilities, within the Red Lake District, have been recently built or upgraded with improvements to both the academic facilities and environmental operating systems. The Red Lake / Ear Falls public school system consists of three public elementary schools offering classes from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. Secondary School students attend Red Lake District High School which offers classes from Grade 9 to Grade 12. The Red Lake District High School has many modern facilities including 2 Gymnasiums (one double gym), a cafeteria, 4 modern computer labs, a filming and video editing lab, and a technology wing (automotive/electrical, woodworking, and drafting.)

Red Lake District Adult Learning Centre
Red Lake District Learning Centre's purpose is, "to assist and support adults in our communities by offering programs that will improve their English language and basic skills to achieve greater independence and participation in their community and workplace."
Contact North
Contact North allows post-secondary students to take courses or programs delivered by an educational institution when the student is separated by distance from the instructor. Contact North operates a network of electronic classrooms located in communities across Northern Ontario. In Red Lake, the classroom and access site are equipped with a tele-writer, computer conferencing, fax machine, and conveners (telephone link). Confederation College and Lakehead University, currently have courses available through Contact North.
Harmony Centre for Community Living
The Centre offers day programs, vocational and life skills, supports employers, offering residential home-care and apartment support to people in the community including the physically disabled.

The Red Lake Campus offers a wide variety of programs to meet the education and training needs of the Red Lake area. The campus is located in the Red Lake District High School at 60B HWY 105. The programs range from full-time post-secondary diploma programs, full-time and part-time certificate programs, continuing education courses, general interest courses, and other education training opportunities.
